Freelancer portfolio website design in Nepal
One page that says what you do, shows the work, lists prices and ends with a contact button, for the freelancer who sells on platforms and needs a home address on the web. Three versions below: dark, light and the classic layout.
Short answer: a one page site for freelancers in Nepal who sell to clients abroad, live in a dark, a light and a classic version. You send your services, your rates, the links to your platform profiles and a few projects with their results; I turn them into the proof a client checks when a platform chat moves to email, in your own name and on your own domain. A single page sits at NPR 10,000 to 25,000, and the classic multi section version at NPR 15,000 to 50,000.
Who this design is for
Freelancers in Nepal working for clients abroad are asked for a website the moment a platform conversation moves to email. The site has one job: confirm you are real, show the work and make it easy to start. This design does that on one page, with a classic multi section variant if you have more to show.
It suits developers, designers, writers, video editors, virtual assistants and marketers who freelance full time.
What is in the design, section by section
The live demo carries placeholder text. The table says what each section becomes when I build it for freelancers.
| Section | What goes there for freelancers |
|---|---|
| Hero | Your name, what you do in one line, the countries you work with and a button to your calendar or WhatsApp. |
| Services | Three to six services with what the client gets and typical turnaround. |
| Work | Selected projects with a line on the result; links to live work where it exists. |
| Testimonials | Quotes pulled from your platform reviews, with the client’s first name and country. |
| Pricing | Hourly and package rates in USD with NPR beside them for local clients. |
| Contact | A short form plus the platforms where you can be hired, so clients can choose where to pay. |
Also included, on every build:
- Links to your freelance platform profiles with the review count, which is the proof clients abroad trust most.
- A Person profile in structured data so your name search shows the site, not only the platforms.
- The classic variant adds a resume, a blog and client logos for freelancers with a longer track record.
- Real HTML, structured data, a sitemap and proper headings, so Google and the AI engines can read every page.
- Hosting on Cloudflare or Vercel in your own account, with the code, the repository and the domain in your name.
The classic personal portfolio layout
The third preview is the light, multi section personal portfolio I offer to any professional in Nepal who wants one page that ranks for their own name: about, skills, portfolio, resume, pricing and contact. It has the same sections as the freelancer design laid out as a classic page on a light background, sits in the same price bands, and I set it up with Person structured data so a search for your name finds your own site.
See it live
Each preview opens the full demo in the same tab. The content on it is placeholder text and every preview is labelled as a template, so what you are judging is the layout and the speed, not a real client site.

What each price band buys for a freelancer
- Single page, NPR 10,000 to 25,000: a hero with your one line offer, services, selected work, platform reviews, rates and a contact form.
- Five to ten pages, NPR 15,000 to 50,000: the classic layout with a resume, a page per case study, client logos and a blog that ranks for your name and your skill.
- Original design, NPR 35,000 to 2,00,000: a personal brand site drawn from scratch, with a client area or paid downloads, quoted separately.
The brief I build this design to
A client abroad who finds you on a platform searches your name before moving the work to email or a direct contract. What they want to see is that you are a real person, that others have paid you and been happy, and how to get started. So the hero says what you do in one line, the reviews come straight from your platform profiles, and the contact button is never more than a scroll away.
What a freelancer website costs in Nepal
Most freelancers start in the single page band, NPR 10,000 to 25,000, because one page read in a minute is what a busy client wants. If you have a resume, case studies and a blog to show, the classic layout fits the five to ten page band at NPR 15,000 to 50,000, and a personal brand site drawn from nothing is original design at NPR 35,000 to 2,00,000. The reasoning behind each band is in my guide to website costs in Nepal. I quote after a free thirty minute call, once I know which platforms and projects you want shown. Hosting on Cloudflare Pages is free at this size, leaving the domain as your one yearly cost, and the domain and code are registered to you so your address on the web outlives any platform.
How it works
First call. Thirty minutes, free, at a time that fits around your client hours. You tell me what you sell, to whom and on which platforms; I tell you which projects to lead with and how to write the one line that goes in the hero.
The build. One to two weeks once your project list and rates are ready. I check that every platform link opens the right profile, add the Person structured data so a search for your name can find the site, and run the same speed, link and layout checks this site runs on every deploy.
Handover. The domain, the repository and the hosting sit in your name. I show you how to add a project or change a rate yourself, and when you land a client worth a case study, I am one message away.
Questions
I already have a platform profile. Why a website?
Clients who move off a platform check for a site, and the site is the one place that lists every platform, your rates and your work together. It also ranks for your name, which a platform profile often does not.
How much does a freelancer website cost in Nepal?
A single page site costs NPR 10,000 to 25,000 in Nepal from a freelancer on a template, and a classic multi section site NPR 15,000 to 50,000. I quote per project after a free first call.
Can I take payments on it?
For clients abroad, keep payments on the platform or an invoice tool; the site links to them. For Nepal, a payment link with eSewa or Khalti can be added.
Which version should I pick?
Dark or light is a taste question; both score the same. Pick the classic layout if you have a resume, more than six projects and a blog. Pick the one page layout if you want a client to read everything in a minute.
Can I show my platform reviews on the site?
Yes. I quote your best reviews with the client’s first name and country and link each one back to your platform profile, so a client can check it is genuine. The platform’s own page stays the proof, so I quote the words rather than copy the star rating.
