Short answer: a bilingual record site for candidates and office holders in Nepal, from ward to national level, live in a dark and a light version. Your office sends the biography, the priorities and the work done with dates, and I build every page in Nepali and English, light enough for a basic phone on a slow connection, with each claim placed next to something a journalist can check. Five to ten pages from this design sit at NPR 15,000 to 50,000; a single page profile at NPR 10,000 to 25,000.

Who this design is for

Voters and journalists in Nepal look a public figure up on Facebook first and on Google second, and the website is where the record lives: what you have done, what you stand for and how to reach the office. This design is built for a text heavy, bilingual site that a constituent can read on a slow connection.

It suits candidates, elected representatives, party offices and civic leaders.

What is in the design, section by section

The live demo carries placeholder text. The table says what each section becomes when I build it for politicians.

SectionWhat goes there for politicians
PrioritiesThe issues you work on, each with a plain statement and what has been done so far.
Work doneProjects and decisions with dates, places and figures that can be checked.
BiographyBackground, education, roles held and the constituency, in both languages.
OrganisationsParties, committees and institutions you serve on or work with.
EventsUpcoming public meetings and a photo record of past ones, in place of the demo’s pricing block.
Press and speechesStatements, interviews and speeches with the date and the outlet.
ContactOffice address and hours, a volunteer form, and the official social accounts.

Also included, on every build:

  • A Nepali and English version of every page with proper language markup.
  • An events feed the office can update without a developer.
  • Accessible by design: large type, strong contrast and keyboard navigation, because a public site is for everyone.
  • Real HTML, structured data, a sitemap and proper headings, so Google and the AI engines can read every page.
  • Hosting on Cloudflare or Vercel in your own account, with the code, the repository and the domain in your name.

See it live

Each preview opens the full demo in the same tab. The content on it is placeholder text and every preview is labelled as a template, so what you are judging is the layout and the speed, not a real client site.

What each price band buys for a public figure

BandWhat it buys
Single page, NPR 10,000 to 25,000Biography, priorities, contact details and office hours, in Nepali and English on one page.
Five to ten pages, NPR 15,000 to 50,000Adds a work done page with dates and places, an events page the office updates, a press and speeches archive and a volunteer form.
Original design, NPR 35,000 to 2,00,000A design built for a party office or a larger campaign, with more sections and more editors, quoted separately.

The brief I build this design to

Voters, journalists and party colleagues look a public figure up on Facebook and then search the name, and what they want from the website is the record in one place. So the site leads with what you have done, with dates and places, keeps every page in both languages, and stays readable for a constituent on an old phone with a weak signal. That is the brief I build this design to, and it is why the work done section sits above the biography.

What a politician website costs in Nepal

My guide to website costs in Nepal lists three price bands, and a public office usually needs the second. A one page bilingual profile costs NPR 10,000 to 25,000; five to ten pages with work done, events and a press archive cost NPR 15,000 to 50,000; an original design for a party or a larger campaign costs NPR 35,000 to 2,00,000. The first call is free and lasts thirty minutes, and I quote after it. Cloudflare Pages hosts a site of this size free of charge, leaving the domain as the only cost each year, and because the domain and the accounts are held by you or your office, a change of staff or of developer does not take the site down.

How it works

First call. Thirty minutes, free. You tell me the office you hold or are standing for, who on your team will post updates and which languages each page needs; I tell you how to set out the work done so every item has a date, a place and a source.

The build. One to two weeks once the record and the photos are ready. Your team reviews both language versions on a staging link on a phone, and I test the pages on a slow connection, check the contrast and keyboard navigation, and run the link, speed and structured data checks this site runs on every deploy.

Handover. The domain, the hosting and the repository are registered to you, not to me or to a member of staff. I train the person who will post events and statements, and I stay one message away for anything the editor cannot do.

Questions

Can the site be in Nepali and English?

Yes. Every page can have both versions with the correct language markup, so each ranks in its own language and a reader switches with one tap.

How much does a political website cost in Nepal?

A template based site of five to ten pages costs NPR 15,000 to 50,000 in Nepal; a bilingual site with an events feed and press archive is quoted per project after a free first call.

Can office staff update it?

Yes. Events, press and statements live in a simple editor, so the office posts the same day.

Can it take donations or volunteer sign ups?

Volunteer and contact forms, yes. Donations depend on the rules that apply to you and your party; I set up what is permitted and nothing else.

Who owns the site after my term ends?

You do. The domain, the hosting and the code are in your name from the start, so the site stays yours when the term is over. You can keep it as a record of your work, turn it towards the next campaign, or give the office an archive copy for whoever comes next.
